I saw this image on Facebook the other day and it resonated with me.   I am in the midst of many changes on both a personal and professional level and its scary.   Very, very scary.  I decided 2014 was not going to be another year where I looked back and didn’t achieve my goals.   I decided 2014 is the year that I am going not only focus on working with individuals who are ready to do things in a big way, but I am going to partner with more groups and organizations as well.   My goal for 2014 is double my current social media network and to empower 100 women entrepreneurs in 2014 .  I also am going to DOUBLE my income this year.

What’s stopped me before?  Fear.  Plan and simple.  Fear of success, fear of failure, fear of embarrassment, fear of letting my peers down.  I have motivated so many clients and colleagues to success, yet I still struggle to find the level of success I know I deserve.  I want to share everything that I have learned over the past 6 years of running my own business with others and help them to step out in a big way too.  So here it is – January 15th.  I am now halfway through the month and I am stepping out, making connections and asking for help.  I am in the midst of updating my brand with a new look.  I am creating a new learning center for entrepreneurs who want to learn WordPress and want to network with others.  I am also raising my pricing.  I know what I am worth and I know I deserve more.

Please don’t also let your good “intentions” get in your way either.   How does the saying go…”The road to hell is paved with good intentions..”?  Looking back in a year’s time and not seeing any of my plans and good intentions actually coming to fruition is going to be my own personal version of hell.  As an entrepreneur, we often make the mistake of comparison.  We compare ourselves to others who are having a measure of success.  The same success we know we are capable of having, if only we stayed in the game.  STOP having good INTENTIONS.  You won’t get your new website up and running if you INTEND to do it.  You won’t connect with more clients if you INTEND to do it.  You won’t earn more this year if you INTEND to.  You need to stop INTENDING to do things – and just get out there and do it.  If you don’t, you are going to find yourself looking back and shaking your head and saying I wanted to….I intended to….but it didn’t happen.

Today is one of several big steps in my business and I wanted to share that with you.  Just typing this post was enough to make my stomach knot up, I am not hiding anymore.  So expect big things from me, because big things are coming.  If you want create the life you know you deserve you need to think about it, speak about it and take action.  I have done enough thinking.  Now is the time to get BUSY and make things happen.  Build some MOMENTUM and feel the fear leave your mind.

Let PERSISTENCE take a hold of you….and create the life you know you deserve today.
